Aurora Engineering developed the design proposal of a simple and reliable ballast cleaner SC 1600 for track ballast cleaning process, customized for Russia. It comprises excavation/formation section with two chain excavators and cleaning section with two screeners and oversize ballast remover. It works with material conveyor and hopper units.
